Before I contacted AZ Chimney & Air Duct, I contacted a competitor and they wanted to charge me an inspection fee where the tech would give me a price at that time. Yeah, right! A neighbor then gave me a referral to AZ Chimney, where the Owner, Becky, gave me a great quote via text and we were scheduled for the very next day! The tech, Danny, was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and thoroughly cleaned each chimney in about 30 minutes each! Another bonus is that they give a multi-chimney discount! We had our AC maintenance done and they kept telling us we needed our air ducts cleaned, but the quote they gave us seemed too high. My coworker referred me to AZ Chimney and Air Ducts and so glad we went with them. Levi, our tech, was very thorough and helpful. It turned out, our 4 year old house wasn’t as bad as the AC people made it out to be! We didn’t need vent sealing or the dryer duct cleaned at this time. I can already feel the air is cleaner and the house smells nice after the sanitizer spray. Will be recommending them for sure!

I usually clean my own dryer vent but this time my rod got stuck somehow! After 2 hours of YouTube and trying to get it out I called Arizona chimney & air duct to see if they’ll be able to send someone. I spoke with Becky who asked if air was still coming out the vent. I hadn’t tried that! After turning the dryer on and going outside the remaining lint blew all over me and I was able to remove the rod! Next time I’ll be calling Arizona Chimney & Air Duct rather than going through the stress of the rod getting stuck or breaking the vent, just call a professional & they are honest and helpful! I ordered a chase and cap and they said it would take approximately 3 weeks. Well I got it before that and it was installed with precision and with quality. I called several different companies to find one that seemed trustworthy to clean my dryer vent and I decided on this one. The person who answered the phone was very informative and also said that they have a flat rate for the dryer vent cleaning services (all of the other companies said that they may charge more once they get there depending on “what they find”). The tech, Jaz, was very professional and courteous. He was able to clean the vent without pulling the stacked unit out of its closet and he gave me additional information about the appropriate length of time between cleanings for my situation.

She suggested a sheep wool insert to block the heat from escaping, the damper is broken, with my Dimplex electric fireplace. Since wool is fire resistant it is a great alternative to a costly Chimney top damper.

I can highly recommend Arizona Chimney and Air Ducts. My clothes dryer was taking forever to dry a load of laundry. It turns out that my dryer duct was completely clogged (with lint) up on the roof. Mike climbed on the roof and cleared out the lint. He also vacuumed out the duct at the bottom. My laundry now dries in well under half the time. Mike was professional and efficient. The service was reasonably priced.

It was a pleasure doing business with this company. From the time I emailed them to make an inquiry to deciding what work needed to be done to the time the work was finished, their communication was constant, I felt comfortable asking questions, and they were nothing but professional. Becky was incredibly helpful with the details of the work that needed to be done (pricing, duration of work, etc.) and the scheduling. Levi, the technician sent to do the work, was courteous, professional, patient, helpful, informative, and all-around one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Levi spent a good two to three hours on all the cleanings, and he was extremely thorough. I would hire this company again without hesitation.

She suggested a sheep wool insert to block the heat from escaping, the damper is broken, with my Dimplex electric fireplace. I can highly recommend Arizona Chimney and Air Ducts. My clothes dryer was taking forever to dry a load of laundry. It turns out that my dryer duct was completely clogged (with lint) up on the roof. Mike climbed on the roof and cleared out the lint. He also vacuumed out the duct at the bottom. My laundry now dries in well under half the time. Mike was professional and efficient. The service was reasonably priced.

Chimney Caps are also known as rain caps, chimney covers, fireplace caps, flue covers, flue caps, and spark arrestors. A Chimney Cap is one of the most inexpensive preventive measures you can put on your fireplace.

Why Install a Chimney Cap?
- Bird/Animals – Wildlife uses an unprotected chimney as an invitation to enter your chimney and your home. They use the chimney as an inviting place to nest and roost. Bird droppings accumulate in a huge mass inside your chimney, this is a breeding ground for bacteria.
- Leaves/Debris – Leaves and debris can choke a flue and set off a chimney fire in a dirty flue.
- Arrest Sparks – Helps prevent sparks from landing on the roof, trees, and nearby combustible materials causing a fire.
- Deterioration – Rain mixes with creosote, it then turns into a corrosive acid which deteriorates the bricks and mortar joints in the firebox.
- Rust – Rain speeds the rusting of metal parts, this causes the damper to become hard to open or close and sometimes stuck in place.
